ADA service animal lawsuits are a hot topic. Business owners beware!

Service animals are permitted to accompany their owners inside places of public accommodation, with very limited exceptions. There are a limited number of questions that businesses can ask about a service animal, but I always tell people to ask only if the animal is a service animal, and nothing else. If the answer is yes, let it into the business. It is not worth months or years of ADA service animal lawsuit litigation and expense to deny entry.
